HIPAA-ready practice management software

For US healthcare practices, HIPAA sets strict standards for protecting patient information. Quzek provides the safeguards — and a Business Associate Agreement — to support you.

What HIPAA means

HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) sets US standards for the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI). Its Security Rule requires access controls, audit controls, integrity and transmission security; a covered entity must also have a Business Associate Agreement in place with vendors that handle PHI on its behalf.

How Quzek helps you meet it

Quzek supports HIPAA's safeguards with role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, private file storage, an audit trail of consent and activity, and automatic logoff after inactivity. Two-factor authentication protects staff accounts. For practices that need it, we provide a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on request.

The features that support HIPAA

A note on honesty. Quzek gives you the tools and safeguards to meet your obligations — it does not, on its own, make your practice compliant, and we do not claim certifications we do not hold. Where a regime needs a signed agreement (such as a Data Processing Agreement or a Business Associate Agreement) we can provide one on request. Compliance is a shared responsibility between the platform and how your practice uses it.

Frequently asked

Is Quzek HIPAA compliant?
Quzek is built to support HIPAA — access controls, audit logging, encryption, automatic logoff and 2FA — and we provide a BAA on request. HIPAA compliance is shared: the platform provides safeguards, and your practice is responsible for how it uses them.
Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?
Yes. Contact us and we will set up a BAA for your practice.
Does Quzek log who accessed a patient record?
Quzek keeps login activity and a consent audit trail today, and access auditing continues to expand as part of our compliance roadmap.
Is patient data encrypted?
Yes — data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using strong, industry-standard encryption, and files are stored on private storage.
